Hi Fangio
Some are missing. For doctors, there is also Heinrich Neumann (RK 21/08/41 as Oberstabarzt in I/Sturm-Rgt. 1 - 7.Flieger Div.)
For NCO, you have also :
Bäcker Rudolf (San.-Fw. d.R.)
Schmitz Franz (San.-Uffz.)

Denis

Hi again Fangio,

Here are pics of Dr. med. Neumann and (later Prof.) Dr. med. Gadermann.
There was also in the Bundeswehr Generalarzt Dr.med. Ernst Ebeling (01.10.1972 - 31.03.1980 Generalarzt der Luftwaffe, 1974 Senior Flight Surgeons Wing-USAF, 1974 Chief Flight Surgeon), who recieved the Knight’s Cross on 23.03.1945 as Ia in the KG (Kampfgeschwader) 53. His pic is out of “Die Generale und Admirale der Bndeswehr 1955-1997”, Vol. 1 (Adam - Fuhr), Biblio-Verlag, Osnabrück 1998.

Hi Oberstab,

Here are two Ebeling's I have. Ebeling_a resembles what you have posted. Ebeling_maybe seems to have a signature that doesn't read that at all but begins with a "K"? Could it also be ObLt Heinz Ebeling of 9/JG26 or a completely different person?

Cheers

Hi Freiherr
The first one is Ernst Ebeling who was awarded the RK as Hptm. 3/KG 53 on 20/03/45 (DKiG 23/12/42 as Oblt. 7/KG 53)
Even if Ernst Ebeling is credited with the Dr. med. title, he was bestowed the RK as bomber pilot and not a doctor/medical personnel per se (hope i am lear enough).
Other RKT in the same situation are :
Günther Brandt (KM)
August Friker (WH)
Alfred Regeniter (WH)

Back again with this subject.

I can't find any Dr Horst Wilke at www.das-ritterkreus.de
I have two men left: Wilke and Keup. Anybody has pictures of these men?

Best,

FANGIO
