► Soft Skinned Vehicles
Re: ► Soft Skinned Vehicles
Hi Jose,
great find: the same vehicle like on the site: www.kfzderwehrmacht.de, a vehicle of a propaganda company.
Best regards
Bert

Re: ► Soft Skinned Vehicles
Hi Jose,
What a great photo. Rare indeed. The very few other Kfz.18 photos I've seen all have a sloping boot, but all the earmarks are there, including the spare cycle wheels. The front wings look like the Type 12 N-RW in this case.
Thanks for posting.

Hi Bert,
I thought that the symbols may be like an aircraft or flak gun's "victory tally", showing the emblems of units, squadrons etc, visited by the propaganda company?
Kerry.

Hi Jose,
a real interesting vehcle. Thanks a lot for posting. It is a vehicle of the University Institute for Physical Education in Jena, maybe during the International University Games (Studenten-Weltspiele) 1939 in Vienna.

Hi Kerry,
thank You for Your reply. I´m thinking in the same way. Here four symbols of Wehrmacht units, which could fit. I think the symbols of the Panzerdivisions are sure, the others only assumptions.
Best regards

Interesting pic. A box body and still carrying canvas hoops. I guess it was easily removable.
