Burning cell in Auschwitz-Birkenau

man...where's the humanity...one picture says 1000 words,this one is from 2003 Israeli youth Expedition to Poland,they visited alot of places,warsaw,auschwitz as you can see in the picture,krakov,lodz etc.

Okay, that would appear to be one of the ovens in the reconstructed Crematorium 1 at Auschwitz.

"Burning cell" might not be the best way to describe it.

I agree, it is an oven, not a burning cell.

no,in the expedition forum it says that this is a picture of a Crematorium,and I'm going to perticipate in 2006 IYE to Poland,so I'm going to verify that one,but anyway Maydanek is a living evidance for burning cells and gas "showers",all still exists.

where the germans took bodies and burned them to ash,they didn't even verify if the individual was dead or not,just stack them all up and burned them.

I'm pretty sure there was one hole in the ceiling from which dropped the gas pellets, they tried to conserve money, it would be useless to try and drop pellets from each and everyone of those showerheads.

yes, it was trown in trough gaps in the ceiling,

Yes, and in conventional English it is called an "oven", as Xcalibur pointed out. And "gas showers" are "gas chambers".
