Are you sure this piece is Austrian-built ? It resembles very much the Breda gun.

Mostly, but not identical. One easy noticeable difference is the barrel's muzzle.

It's where I got the pic from , an italian army refference page.No Breda there , in fact read the first paragraph which clearly indicates that it was produced by the italians.

Yes, the two guns were almost identical. In the photo bellow, Breda is in the near plane and Bohler is in the second plane.

I think the second gun in the last pic could be an ex-Dutch Bohler: these had muzzle breaks and shields and an ingenious DAF carriage. Either Austrian built or Artillerie Inrichtingen (Dutch State Arsenal).
If I am right that would be a great find! Any more pics or info on this particular cannon?

Austiran-build 47mm Böhler Mod.35B was also used in Lithuanian (and may be Estonian) army. Ex-Lithuania guns were used in Red Army in 1941, and some of them were captured by Wehrmaht and designated as PaK 196(r) which lead to common mistake that Böhler guns were adopted in Russia.

Even the Dutch army had them, and one Böhlerpag (pag = pantser afweer geschut in german Pak and in english AT) is still left in the museum Hoeffer (the former dutch army museum).
there also are two turrets left for the Böhlerpag, one in geniemuseum and one in a dependance of the museum Hoeffer, the two turrets were ordered before the surrender and were never used in pillboxes, the turrets were delivered from Luik in Belgium after the germans became the rulers in Holland.
in the National archieves there are nice drawings and even a factory folder for the dutch army.
