Party Rally Nuremburg
Party Rally Nuremburg
I'm looking for information in English about the Party Rallies at Nuremburg. Does anyone know when the last rally was held - 1939? Directions to good websites would be gratefully received. Thanks.
Hello M. Foster,
The Nuremburg NSDAP rallies took place from 1929 to 1938. The 1939 rally which was scheduled for September 2-11 did not occur due to the outbreak of the war with Poland. Here are some links to a few Nuremberg party rally sites.

http://www.thirdreichruins.com/ This site has an excellent section on the party rallies.
I would also recommend the movie Triumph of the Will which is about the 1934 party rally.

Greetings,
That sure is a nice picture Valleygal. Do you have any more good pictures of the rallies? Some color ones would be most appreciated. Perhaps you know of some good internet sites? I have many pictures in my collection but few color ones. There is a book by Viktor Ullrich called: Reichsparteitag 1938 Grossdeutschland Zeitgeschichte in Farbe published by ARNDT. Have you ever heard of it? It shows many splendid color pictures of the 1938 rally. Since I live in California and this book is available only in Germany I have been unable to obtain a copy. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks. J.M.

So far this is the only pic of the Luitpold Arena that I have. I am currently hunting around for more, and if I come across any more interesting pics I will be sure to post them.J.M. wrote:Greetings,

I have noticed someting, you see those Gettyimages, they are photos originally owned by the Time Warner Group out of America.
Are some companies plagerising copyrighted material of such famous photographs as the Jaeger collection?
Corbis has seen to be doing the same thing sometimes also.
Sorry i know off the point of the rally photos but just an observation.
Regarsd.
