This is very strange. I am checking these web page http://aragoneses.webcindario.com/ (in spanish) that is about the people of Aragon (Spain) that were prisoners in KZ.An interesant matter. There are testimonies of former prisoners.
One of them is a bit strange. A woman Alfonsina Bueno Vela tell us about her experiences in Ravensbruck, some of them are a bit strange, but this is strangest. She stayed in Block 32 and her blockova (i suppose the block chef)was a German woman. This woman had been arrested when Hitler get the power and her husband was arrested too. The blockova had told Alfonsina Bueno Vela that the Nazis had crushed her husband head with an elephant leg. Can be this posible?

panzertruppe2001 -- I've never heard that story before. Perhaps it involved an Elefant zur besonderer Verwendung from the SS Schwere-Elefantverbaende attached to the Indische Freikorps. The tale is more likely a fable, the result of a misunderstanding or a garbled re-telling, although I suppose it's possible that the man could have been beaten to death with a severed elephant foot which had been manufactured into a cane or umbrella stand.

The crushing under an elephant's foot was a punishment practiced in ancient times in countries where elephants were raised in captivity(India, Carthage etc).

Possible in terms of feasibility. But imagine he must have been someone really important (while he obvious wasn't) to make Nazis to such effort.

No, in my opinion such a thing didn’t happen – had been otherwise we would have heard of this along with hanging on a piano string.
