Hallo Philmil,

first row at right: later Generalarzt der Reserve Prof. Dr. med. Lothar Kreuz, SS-Standartenführer, Cheforthopäde der Charite in Berlin, Leiter des Oskar-Helene-Heims in Berlin, Beratender Orthopäde der HSanIn, Rektor der Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Berlin. KC of the War Merit Cross with swords.
Another pic with Prof. Kreuz is in the book of Max History "The SS Leadership Corps, Volume I" in the chapter Conti at page 211 (the pic below at left)

Cheers

Dear Philmil,

I have to correct a mistake:
Prof. Kreuz is the only General of the Wehrmacht with
"Ritterkreuz des Kriegsverdienstkreuzes OHNE Schwerter".

In the new Volume of "Die Generale des Heeres, Kn - L" you will see his picture with his neck-order.

Now the new book

"Die Generale des Heeres 1921 - 1945", Vol. 7, "Knabe - Luz", Biblio-Verlag Bissendorf, 2004. 675 pages

is available

There is the pic of Prof. Lothar Kreuz out of this book with
KC War Merit Cross without swords
