Are there any books that deal with the Waffen-SS combat activities in the Stettin-Altdamm area?

At the moment I can only recomend Tiekes "Tragedy of the Faithful" that has some information regarding the fighting in Stettin/Altdamm, where the III. SS-Pz.Korps faught.

Well , I found that the rests of PzGrenBrigade "Nederland" , PzGrenDiv. "Nordland" , StuBrig "Langemarck" , PzDiv. "Frundsberg" and StuBrig. "Wallonien" fought in the Bridgehead of Altdamm /Christinenberg .

In the book "Krieg im Osten - Das bittere Ende jenseits der Weichsel bis Oder und Neiße " by Ulrich Saft contains a good map of this area !

Hannes,

The book "In the Firestorm of the Last Years of the War" by Tieke which covers the history of the 9th & 10th SS-Pz Dvs has some information on it. It describes these divisions involvement in the battle you mention.

Cheers

Airport at Altdamm, used by Luftwaffe during II WW:

Here during war started one of German pilot:
"...Przytoczmy relację niemieckiego lotnika, mieszkańca Chociwla, który ostatni raz leciał nad swoim miastem dnia 4 marca na Ju-87 "Stuka". Oto ona:
