Dachau Trials & Landsberg Executions

Hello,
i`am trying to compile a full list of those men, who were tried in Dachau betwenn 1945 - 1949 and executed in Landsberg by the americans. I think it were about 300 persons. Can anybody help completing my list?
I`am also searching for further information ( especially the so-called "Flyer - Lynching - Cases") and photographs on this Dachau defendants... (already know the topic "Landsberg execution" / Axis biographical research")

The Rüsselsheim-Condemned (12-1497) Josef Hartgen, Philipp Gutlich, Johann Opper, Johannes Seipel and Friedrich Wüst were executed on the 10. November 1945 in Bruchsal. I assume that this five convicted are not among the list of 300 persons executed in Landsberg a. Lech.

I don't know whether these fellows were hanged or not. There was an article in the New York Times on the death sentences, but I never saw any follow-up or official report.

Correct. In the first year or so of the occupation there were trials and executions all over the place. It wasn't until later that Landsberg-am-Lech prison had exclusive hanging rights.

Yeah, but not without a lot of legwork -- the National Archives & Records Administration US Army Signal Corps photo collection. The pickings on-line are fairly slim. Good luck!

Clemens Wiegand (12-1145) and Fritz Hähnert (12-1395) must have been convicted in Flyer - Lynching cases, I suppose.

As I already wrote above, I think that Gutlich, Opper, Hartgen, Wüst and Seipel do not "belong" to the Landsberg list, because they were executed in Bruchsal. But I`am not quite sure.

Maybe you know more about that matter?

The US put people on trial in dachau , Darmstadt ( Russelheim case)
Ludwigsburg (borkum case)but also 16 trials in Salzburg ( austria)
4 executions Bakos , Csihas, Lienhart markus, Saur hans.

Wiegand and hahnert are indeed flyer lynching cases.

some are not executed in landsberg but all belong to the same list.

Saw a reference some time ago to a Luftwaffe Ritterkreuz holder who was sentenced in the post-war tribunals. and actually executed. Is this true, and if so, who was the defendant and what was his alleged crime?

but no specifics, and a reference to Noack (Hauptmann?) being an amputee who had to be taken up to the gallows on a stretcher, and the contemporary (not revisionist) published report by the British journalist Freda Utley, a source for those with an interest in war crimes and the Dachau tribunals in general:

Noack was indeed carried to the gallows on a stretcher, or litter.
The reason for this is that Noack was kept at the hospital instead of a holding cell at Landsberg.
He was probably schizophrenic and very loud and disruptive.
My uncle, the assistant commandant at Landsberg went to the hospital and told Noack they were taking him back to his cell to prevent his outburst.
When they got to the place that one way led to the cells and took the other to what was known as the dungeon, Noack reliazed his execution was near and he pitched a very loud fit which continued all night.
He was watched to prevent suicide since he had already left a suicide note.
The reason he was on a stretcher was that when my uncle came to his cell to take him to his execution, he perched himself high on his bed and threw himself head first onto the commode.
This caused semi consciousness and a big gash on his head. The doc administered smelling salts on the way to the gallows. He was attached to a board and held upright. Noose applied and Bingo.
This is in a book my uncle wrote Captor Captive, and I can send as attached text to anyone interested in his experiences at Landsberg.

He was the assistant commandant and supervixed the executions there

Not sure if the photo of Peter chemy is here after his firing squad execution. He is dead in this ohoto and the target over his heart was made by my uncle from a 3x5 index card withan ashtray as a guide which was then cut out and penned to his chest.
Chemy was released from a concentration camp and a family found him wandering around homeless and they took him in for the night and fed him and gave him a bed. He showed his appreciation by getting an axe and murdering the family including their child. He was convivted of this and given the death by firing squad.
