German landing vessels
Did the german had dedicated landing vessels?
I think that depends on when. In the Aegean in 1943 they used MFPs (Marinefährprahme or F-Leichter) and Siebelfähren for this task (Rogers 'Churchill's Folly').
During the planning for Sealion, and at Crete, they do not have seemed to have anything in that line of work, although in the latter case they may simply not have been on hand when needed.

Re: German landing vessels
As I recalled that some Kriegsmarine landing vessels experimented with having rocket launchers fitted during WWII. These rocket mounted vessels saw action late during WWII mainly in the Baltic Sea area.
