I will post in this topic some of the lists of German officers awarded the higher grades of the Steaua Romaniei Order (Star of Romania) and Coroana Romaniei (Crown of Romania) I encounter in my search for the Virtutea Aeronautica Order. However, these are not the entire lists, as I do not have the time and the space on the flash card for them. Hopefully these will be of some use to someone. The names may not be properly spelled, as the Monitorul Oficial is known to often publish with mistakes.

Werner Braune is Dr Karl Rudolf Werner Braune SS Standartenführer 30.1.45 born 11.4.1909 He was an SD officer and his last opost was Chef Abteilung Personal in AMt IV RHSA . He was hanged at landsberg 10.6.1951 He was not the rocket scientist

Well, I didn't copy the entire decree, just the more important classes. There were also many NCOs listed for other awards. I will see what I can do next time I go to the archives.

Thanks for the latest batch – there are a few interesting senior mountain troop officers in there (Stettner Ritter von Grabenhofen, Jodl, Picker and Kress). Your new list would explain the large ribbon worn through the buttonhole in this photo of Generalleutnant Hermann Kress.
