the http://www.cmt1907.org is the Carolina Mountain Troops

We have members from as far south Charlotte NC and as far north Charleston WV , Roanoke and Richmond VA

our training activities are held at various locations near parts of the Blue Ridge Parkway areas, and occasionally West Virginia near Big Walker Tunnel area, with average altitude of 2,800 feet above sea level.
So - lots of unusual terrain navigation is the norm with us -
but always a great vista to end the day with. Our web mail seems to be going to a blackberry only so if no responce -
better try Lt. Col Ret. Tracy Buffington at [email protected]

to make contact.

French Resistance group in Pa. Md. area

We are the Special Section of Saboteurs of the French Forces of the Interior.
We are headquartered in Gettysburg Pa. and have members through Pennsylvania. Maryland , New Jersey and even South Carolina. We are history enthusiast and portray members of the French Underground and Maquis Freedom Fighters in occupied France during World War II. We participate in reenactments, Historical displays and Living History events through the Mid Atlantic region.

Our unit is unlike most reenacting groups, You won't be learning manual of arms, we won't be marching in formation or dressed exactly like the man besides you. Our unit is more for the thinking man (or woman), you must rely on cunning and stealth rather than firepower to complete objectives of Military importance. Being a clandestine force, we rely on the various talents of our members to outwit the Enemy. This is where your Historically Accurate, individual impressions is welcomed. If this sounds intriguing, or if your suffering from reenactor "Burn Out" and are tired of just "burning powder" The Resistance might be for you. If you want to find out more, feel free to contact us.

Hello, everyone. I am new to this forum and am looking for people who might be interested in reenacting. I call my friend and I the "Inglorious Bastards" because we're the only two reenactors that I know of in the entire state of Arkansas. We are located around the Little Rock area and are hoping to recruit members. If you're interested, please respond. Thank you for your time. :)

3rd SS Totenkopf 5. SS-Regiment 2. Kompanie
We are based out of the Midwest in Missouri, Kansas, and Nebraska
We may be combining forces with a second 3rd SS unit forming in the St. Louis area
giving us a potential of having up to 20 members in the field at events.
We currently do not have a unit website, however, the unit we may be combining with has a website it is:

http://2kompanie.org/index.html

We are currently trying to devise secondary impressions suitable for western front reenacting but would love to see a rise in eastern front events!

Bis Später, Kamerad's!

I would like to present our reenactment association "Die Freiwilligen" ( eng. volounteers ). Country of operation - Poland . We have 17 members at the moment and still growing. As the name of Association suggests -"Die Freiwilligen" our interests are mainly related to the activities of foreing volunteers who fought in the Waffen SS units in 1943-45.

We have our website http://www.die-freiwilligen.pl but unfortunetly in polish only. But you can also visit our Facebook profile , which is in english http://www.facebook.com/DieFreiwilligenAssociation .

Some photos from our galleries.
