Very interesting info but I have a pair of questions. All this numbers concerning all French Army (incl. Alpian front, Levant, North Africa) or only North-East front? And fortress units' artillery is included?

Re: French weapons
Can the "white uniform" also be the "Cépi blanc", the white cap of the foreign legion and the source of their nickname "cépi blancs", which also would explain the term "special forces"?
Re: French weapons
Hi all,
Which is the different between the 75mm and 105mm Schneider Mle1919 and the Mle 1928 mountain guns?
Which was the model used by Paraguay in the Chaco War? Mle 1919 or Mle 1928??

Re: French weapons
Based on the picture, it looks to me like the Paraguayans used the Mle 1919. Here is another picture:

Here are links to pictures of the 75 and 105 Mle 1919 & 1928 for comparison. A noticeable difference between Mle 1919 and Mle 1928 in both cases (75 & 105) is the absence of mudguards above the wheels. The shield is also significantly different.
The 75 mm guns have a reduced diameter of the front half part of barrel while the 105s have a straighter barrel.
