Female Auxiliary Photographs
I just realised that some stills from this film appear in the book Blitzmädchen by Franz Seidler. Doh!
As an aside, the same book has some photos of Helferinnen in a British POW camp, and I think there was only one British camp which took women. Any researchers out there shed light on where this camp was, and if there are any more photos? I have also asked a POW researcher separately and am waiting for a reply. I only ask because some British POW camps are being restored into museums and one is currently used by reenactors and I am researching what happened to Helferin after capture by the British.
Some of you might find the following sites of interest:

A photo allowing a good look at the construction of the Heer Helferinnen skirt. The woman on the left has a shirt with a two colour collar piping. The cap also has that piping though both pipings are hardly recognizable with this size of the photo.

Valentine's Day is rather unknown in Germany even today. The usual suspects from german retail business tried hard to intoduce in recent years (to sell us more useless stuff of any kind) but it didn't really catch on. They did better with introducing Halloween. In the 1940s Valentine's was viewed as a strange outlandish habit if it was noticed at all.As you say that Urlaub means holiday, and the date was February of 1942, so It means that the picture(the girl with a dog, the first one) was taken during the Valentines day.. Is It right!?
Also may I know what breed of dog is that!?

Thanks to your info Heimatschuss, ahh so sad Valentines is not widely known in Germany, but Germany is famous with thier Octoberfeast, as today here in our country celebrating that feast, that I think they got from Germany!
Tnx. again!
From the archives of Ullstein Bild, a selection of ladies and well known gents. What I find striking is the height of the RADwJ lady on the right - she towers over everybody. The Lady in the middle that the RAD leader is talking to is from Italy. I'm quite tall myself so it was nice to see this.
