Re: Female Auxiliary Photographs
German female in a Panzer tunic and cap. I'm pretty sure that there were no women tank auxiliaries, though I may be wrong, so she's probably wearing a husband/man friends', or relatives. Nevertheless, it is revealing of a fashion to portray women in various uniforms in Nazi Germany. The rank seems to be an Obergefreiter, with the General Assault Badge clasp on the front (another indication that the uniform is not hers). Not sure what decoration the ribbon signifies, hazarding a guess it could be the Iron Cross, but difficult to tell without colour indication.

Re: Female Auxiliary Photographs
If you were in the service for a time you surely may have experienced that women in general like to pose with their boyfriends/husbands headwear or uniforms

Re: Female Auxiliary Photographs
Hi Max,
I would assume a uniform of the "DRK" (Deutsches Rotes Kreuz), the headgear at that time speaks for it.
Unusual were the high boots, probably a higher-ranking lady from the management level..?

Re: Female Auxiliary Photographs
Thank you, Hans. Likely a Red Cross armband as well then.

Re: Female Auxiliary Photographs
Yes, that makes sense, simple female members of the DRK at that time certainly didn't drive around in such a car, but rather on bicycles...
Unfortunately, the armband from that time is not exactly recognizable, but it probably speaks for the organization at that time...

Re: Female Auxiliary Photographs
Hello Forum.
Is it not the Todt organization uniform ?
The female branch had a Tirol style hat
I remember a photo of a very tall woman wearing it
