I've looked at this for some time to try to figure out just what is going on here. French officers inspecting who, when, where? I don't recognize the propaganda trucks though the badges look similar to Hanomag? I'm intrigued by this one. Can anyone help me?
Hello Markus, Bert,and Shamirnewell,
Thank you all very much for helping me to clear up this mystery. Based on your valuable comments I searched my Polski-FIAT folder (which I had previously ignored) and found similar vehicles, including some in a Hungarian Unit:
Polski Fiat 618.png

Also here is a close up of the P-F badge which I believe to be the same as on the mystery vehicles.

So I believe I can now say that with your help "Mystery Solved".

Hi all,

An image from Ebay. I think it is a Wanderer WW 2,5L PKW but this car have two rows of louvres on engine hood, while other cars of this model had only a wider row. Does this feature indicate a particular year of manufacture?

Hello Bert,
I stand in awe! What an amazing piece of detective work, after all this time. I would never have solved that one. Now here is another pic of the car probably from that same site:

Hello Bert.
I've studied your images of the Chevrolet - especially the rear view - and I must agree with Max. Your identification of the mystery vehicle is spot on and very impressive indeed.
Well done and my thanks to you for solving what I thought would remain a mystery forever.
My thanks to Max as well for his additional image.
Best wishes, Rob.

Hi Rob, hi Max,

thank You very much for Your kind words. Frankly it was not a detective work, but more a find by chance. I was looking for images of the Hungarian vehicles (Polski-Fiat) which were to see on the pics Max posted 18 October. So I came across with the Chevrolet. All these vehicles has the same unit marking, maybe of a propaganda company.

Best regards

Bert
