after searching a lot of time I will tell You my guess ti the unknown truck. I cannot consent to You, Bill, so I think it could be an Opel, but a captured one with a special cab built in the foreign country, but I don´t know where.Maybe You know it better. I´d like to read Your meanings to my guess.

It is not an Opel, for the Opel trucks had a banjo-type rear axle and the unknown truck has a split-type rear axle.

Hi Protze,

thank You for the fast response. To the rear axle: First I also thought, that this truck has a split type rear axle, but then I saw that there must be an optical error, because there is a dark field in the background and a part of it behind the truck is leading to the wrong reception, that it connects the wheel with the axle. Maybe I´m wrong, but that´s the reason why I´m still thinking of an Opel truck.

You are welcome. But I can understand your opnion for the Opel, for the Opel 3,6-6700A had a split-type differential front axle and a banjo-type differential rear axle (see the image)

Im no expert but i dont think thats it as the previous 3 photos have duellies in the rear not singes as einheits ( then again knowing thse germans it could be field mod) but the bodywork is entirely different as the 3 photos hve more of a streamlined bodywork whras the einheits diesel has a boxy body on it...plus im willing to bet my knowledge on a mercedes truck probably in the 3000 series as the 4000-4500 are way to big
why you say? why is it a mercedes because you can clearly makeout the circular mercedes symbol dont know what its called its probably the same idea as the bmw symbol a propellor

the truck on Your pic is a Hansa-Lloyd, but I cannot ID the exact type. It could be a 3 tonner produced for the Wehrmacht. Sorry that I cannot post a pic of such a truck. But You can compare this truck with a pic of a similar truck of Borgward (later produced by this firm type 3t Diesel G.W.) on the site of Holger Erdmann http://www.kfzderwehrmacht.de

Hello,

I have here a small tracked towing vehicle. It seems to be engaged in a training exercise. Note the civilians observing and the observers on the hill in background. Also note what appear to be guide flags for the exercise course. Please, what vehicle is this? I have seen several small towing vehicles in the forum, but I can't place this one.
