Hi Henning,

thank You for the correction and the very interesting pics. Please, excuse my mistake.

I was looking for more information about the heavy truck of Borgward and in the book "Taschebuch Deutscher LKW-Bau" by Wolfgang Gebhardt I´ve found the interesting information, that Borgward built a 5 ton-truck with a 105 hp - engine out of existing parts, against the Schell-program. Maybe that´s the solution for the truck You posted.

Regards

Bert

Hi all,

I need your help to correctly identify these vehicles (images from Ebay):

Image 1: I think Mercedes-Benz, but What model? :?
Image 2: Mercedes-Benz PKW sure, but anyone can distinguish this model? :?
Possibly both photos show the same model.

and other two images (from Ebay):

Image 1 and 2 : I think both photos show Wanderer W11 PKWs with 3.7cm PaK guns, but I'm not sure.

Often it is very difficult for me to distinguish between these early German military PKWs vehicles

Thanks in advance. Sturm78

From SIS 5:
"I´m searching a pic with a light truck of the Wehrmacht shown from the left side with datas on the door about the weight and so on, offered not so long ago at e-bay. Maybe You saved the pic. If yes, please, post it on the thread with the identification of unknown vehicles. Thanks in advance."
Bert (SIS 5)

This is the only picture I have...

Best regards
George

Hi Carius,

thank You very much for You help. It´s not the pic I´m searching for. This pic is also very good and interesting, but it´s a heavier truck. If I could read it right, the payload is 3.000 kg or 3.500 kg. So it could be a Büssing-NAG type 300. 305 or 350.
But I´m still searching for a pic with a light truck with a payload of 1.200 kg.

Regards and thanks again

Bert

Hi Sturm,

Your both photos are from the Mercedes-Benz Typ Stuttgart 260 built in the years 1930-1935, they were built by the coachwork from Mercedes-Benz called Sindelfinger body, but also from the coachbuilders Trutz ( Coburg) and Gaubschat from Berlin. kind regards Hans

Thank you very much, Hans.
Have you any idea about my last two photos? I think that they are probably Wanderer W11 2.5L or 3L PKWs.

On the other hand, Can someone identify this Japanese army truck?

Hi Carius,

thank You for posting another pic of a truck with the information about the payload. It´s an Opel Blitz 3 ton. The first number cannot be seen: weight of the truck: 2.541 kg, payload: 3.300 kg.

Hello

Carius posted following red cross picture.
I think its a early Borgward 3Tonner GW. My source the next 2 pics. Compare the roof design of the cap, the rear door hinges typical early version, and the very high wood body.

whats your opinion?

best regards

Henning
