IMHO No. 1 is Mercedes 170 kübel and No.2 is Ford G917T. Nothing definitive, though, the picture is too blured.
Cheers!

Hi Bert,
It looks very Italian, perhaps a Lancia Astura or some such.
Probably not, but it may point in the right direction.
Good hunting,
Kerry.

Bert,
Another possibility is a Lancia Dilambda,

Hi Slava,

that´s a Hansa-Lloyd type EH 2, an electric truck of the Reichspost (postal service).
Here a pic of this truck in a museum (https://www.kues-magazin.de/update-es-s ... s-magazin/).

Best regards

Bert

Hi Bert,
IMHO your car is Pininfarina-bodied 1930 Lancia Dilambda:

Hi Bert and ilfil,
I thought that it may be a Dilambda, so I have done more research. I think this may be a Weymann bodied example. As far as I can ascertain the Pininfarina design was without a B pillar, the query car clearly has the doors hung on a central pillar. The production run was from 1929 to 1935, so it was built somewhere in that range.
A really good query Bert, and a lovely looking car. The paint scheme suggests it was used originally by the Italian forces before their disengagement from WW2.
Kerry.

Hi all,

Any idea about this halftrack?
I think a SdKfz 6-2 BN l5 / BN l7 halftrack in Flak version but it is strange. Until now I only had seen the SdKfz 6-2 Flak halftrack in later versions, BN l8 or BN 9

Any thoughts please on this wreck in the north African desert in 1942? It is right-hand drive, so is it Italian?

John.
