Hi Strum 78,

now to the pic with the Büssing truck You posted 12 February. A very interesting pic, but not so easy to ID. I would say, it could be the type V G with a front axle put back. It is a vehicle of the police, maybe a so called "Großlastkraftwagen". But also the model VI GL is possible for me, as uncle suggested. Büssing built some of the type VI GL for the police, but with another superstructure.

Hi Kerry, hi Sturm 78,

I agree with You, Sturm 78, that this Krupp truck is a field modification without Kfz. number. And I think that this is a special modification for a manoeuvre. On the left fender You can see the flag (in red or blue). That´s a sign for a manoeuvre. And they hanged the canvas cover over the wheel arch a to give the impression that this is an armoured car. That´s my interpretation.

now to the last pic You posted yesterday. I totally agree with You. That must be a MB LG 4000, but not the model for the export. Here with a huge snowplough. A very interesting pic. Thank You very much for posting.

Hi John,
What else it could be? The protective frame with mesh and 4/5 of height "frosted" glass are sure signs it is an ambulance body. Of course, those ambulances can always be used for something else.

Here we have an Opel Olympia on the left with WH licence plate. Is the middle vehicle a Zis? It has a licence plate that I cannot identify - it reads La7403 in western not cyrillic script. Any thoughts about the lorry on the far right please?

The soldiers appear to be members of the Red Army rather than the Wehrmacht.

Off subject chaps, but who better to ask? What do you make of this seemingly bewildering scene,

A photograph taken near Mirecourt, Lorraine that I bought on eBay. My wild guess is that the horses are likely to be Wehrmacht animals put out to graze in a field where a large group of mixed Allied forces had very recently surrendered or were en route under escort.
There appear to be both French and British helmets possibly others scattered about, the bicycles? I haven't a clue... Your guesses will be far better informed than mine. Forgive the off subject post, but I suppose that horses and bicycles are forms of transport.

The rear vehicle is a Buick 1939, the front one a Horch, but I do not know the model, possibly an 830, I will have a look at my references.

Indeed, if judging from some ID points it is Opel on your picture and this is Mercedes but the bodies were standard anyway.
Just to support my statement: here is an Opel but the interior is somewhat obscured, although still visible:
