in KL Strutthof-Natzweiller, these duties went usually to asocials and sentenced for crimes less for political (sometimes communists). Lägeralterster was the highest rank for an inmate. Hans Georg Schmidt was chief of the Gestapo office of Metz METZ 43 44 and chief of abt. IV BdS
Georg hempen was the commander of the SS- Sonderlager Feste Goben at Metz, a prison of the Gestapo were resistans were tortured : 36 resistants were killed.
Johann Hirschbiegel was the chief of Gestapo office in Saint Avold (annexed lorraine)
Philipp Mehl was chief of Gestapo office Sarrebourg (annexed lorraine) then chief of the political section of Gestapo Metz

Johann Hirschbiegel was the chief of Gestapo office in Saint Avold (annexed lorraine)
Philipp Mehl was chief of Gestapo office Sarrebourg (annexed lorraine) then chief of the political section of Gestapo Metz
