Re: ► Photothread: Allied Vehicles in German Service
Hi Max,
I reckon you have it nailed, the wings/boot/bumper are a match for the SS 1. Very clearly a valued photo.
Best regards,
Kerry.

Yes, it is certainly rarer than an MG. It would make a fine addition to your collection if it is still available on ebay.de. Thanks again for your ID.
Cheers,

Thanks Max, sadly too late and, more importantly, far too expensive, final auction price 275 Euros.
All the best,
Kerry.

A Bedford sandwiched between a Kfz. 17 and another Horch 901 somewhere in France.

Hi,
No idea the letters KR or KB but the vehicle belongs to the medical unit of the 164 Infantry Division.

Paul, The more I look at this the more I see a painted over Artillerie Tactical sign on the other mudguard. Is it just my imagination ?spannermann wrote: ↑30 Nov 2021, 22:50Hi,

Hi Alan,
Certainly has that general look of a German artillery sign, but surely is much more likely to be a painted over British sign, given the vehicles origins..
cheers
