George, that is not the same Elephant as StuG Bde 203 used, theirs was "trumpeting" rather than just standing there.

This may only serve to confuse, but here is yet another elephant. I am not sure if this is a personal emblem or a unit marking.

George, as Christoph says "not confirmed" and I have toask what a StuG brigade would be doing with an SdKfz 7 in any case.

Another variation on the elephant. Does anyone recognise the marking on the Peugeot 202 please?
Thanks,
Kerry

Another trumpeting elefant, this one attributed to StuG.Abt 203:

Kerry, either 1 Kavallerie Division or 24 Panzer Division, it would depend upon the date that the photograph was taken.

Hi,

here a pic with a Skoda type H/HD with a fish as unit marking. It could be the 35th infantry division (source of the pic: an expired ebay auction).

Regards

Bert

What might DJ behind the fish on the screen mean?

With best, J-P :milwink:

John, I don't know what they mean but the "J" is probably a capital "I", just the way the Germans wrote it.
