SS-Brigadeführer Friedrich Schmidt

Post by Matt Gibbs » 19 Jul 2005 22:33

SS-Brigadeführer Friedrich Schmidt was deputy Gauleiter of Wurrtemberg Hohenzollern and I am looking for a photo of him, if anyone on the forum has come across such a thing, and also a good photo of Murr who was his boss, I have only seen a small one of him, not very clear.

I posted some details about him years ago on the forum, but unless anyone has any oddball info such as wartime promotions etc that would also be useful! :D

any help appreciated!

regards

MM, thanks! Will check my list when I can find it, I am sure there is something I can add! I was researching him when I owned one of his awards.
Kind regards

hello,
I am trying to find out if the green-pencil signature on this very early German occupation of Lublin (first 2 days) document is the signature of its first governor SS-mann Friedrich Schmidt?

Doc couldn't be signed by Friedrich Schmidt. Simply because he was appointed at Lublin on 26 october 1939.
