Images from resent Bunkertrip to France

Hello all

"I am back" - 8)

I have been on a two week trip to France, and here is some images from different places that i have visited.

I took about 1700 pictures, so if you want to see more - you will have to wait until i have uploaded then into folders on Webshots - OK !!

The pictures captions tells where they are from, but any questions - please just ask !!

The second picture here is an old tugboat sunk in may 1940 during the evacuation from Dunkirk - still present on the beach at low tide !!!!

The "funny" thing about this first picture is the date 26-7-1941 !!

This picture is taken 26-7-2005 !!

Hallo Kurt!

Seems like your holiday have outclassed mine this year!
Guess I have to go somwhere really spectacular next summer :)

The Wr is just great! Was it possible to enter it, or atleast have a look inside?

Also wondering if you made any photos of the 5cm KwK present at the Pegasus brigde?

Hello Erik

It was a good trip ( but it rained a lot ) but otherwise very interesting. The WR at Douvres de la Deliverande was "cool" but no interior, just an empty maschineroom, sorry !!

Pegasus bridge was just a "passing en route" so not many pictures from there - but i took over 1700 pictures in all - so you will have to see thoose later...... :wink:

Did you manage to take some photo's inside Radarstellung Distelfink (Douvres) for everytime I go there it is closed.

YES - i did, it was open, and i have a lot of pictures from the museum and the different bunkers and from the WR radar - so just wait until i have uploaded my photos to Webshots - then i will post a link - as usual.... :D
