Military Museum of the Chinese People's Revolution in Beijing has a good collection of atrillery, firearms and some other equipment. However there are a lot error in the labels, and most of staff have a little or no idea what they are look at, and can not answer even the simplest technical question in Chinese, not to mention to explain these question in English. So if any of you go there use your own knowledge and judgement ( it can be challengeing), and do your own research when you come back. Also the condition for the equipments on display is not very good. Sine is free of chatge and is located near the railway station so there will be a lot people.

Address: No. 9, Fuxing Road, Haidian District, Beijing.
Zip Code: 100038
Telephone: 0086-10-66817161
Opening time: 8:30 to 16: 00
The museum is accessible by Line 1 of the Beijing Subway at the Military Museum Station and City Bus Routes 1, 4, 21, 65, 68, 205, 308, 320, 337, 617, 728, and 802.

ZiS-3 - "must-have exhibit" for most museums in former USSR and ex-socialist countries. :)

Very nice, could you tell me where you saw the Panther? That doesn't look like Overloon to me, or am I wrong?

OT, mentioning that. If you'r in the vicinity of the southern Netherlands, check out museum Overloon. They have a section about the occupation and resistance during WW2 (national war and resistance museum), and another section with a huge display of vehicles(marshall museum), both wartime and post-war. German, American, British, Soviet, you name it.
