Hello,
Here is a short bio;

BORN: 14 July 1895.
DIED: 5 September 1953.
PARTY NUMBER: 248256.
AWARDS: 1914 Iron Cross 2nd Class; Cross of Honour 1914-1918 Combatants; Golden Party Badge; War Merit Cross with Swords; SS Honour Ring and Sword.

Darré was born in the German colony near Belgrano, Argentina. He attended the colonial schools in Witzenhausen and Wimbledon, and several universities, including Heidelberg. He served in WWI, and afterwards led the young farmers in Insterburg. He decided to become an agriculturist and became interested in stock rearing problems. in 1929 he wrote his first book, Blood and Soil, setting out his views of agriculture and selective breeding. In 1930 he joined the NSDAP and met Himmler, who absorbed his racist ideas and persuaded Darré to join the SS. He became the first head of the RuSHA in 1932.
Darré became Minister of Agriculture in June 1933 with the resignation of Dr. Hugenberg. his philosophy was that the Germans were both farmers and warriors. He recognised no clear division between nobility and peasantry, and his views brought him into conflict with Himmler in 1936, forcing Darré to resign the leadership of RuSHA in 1938.
Darré established the Reich Food Estate in 1933. This afforded him an opportunity for Corruption on a grand scale. in 1942 an investigation discovered that he was covertly implementing black marketeering. He was dismissed from his ministry. He was tried, found guilty and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment. He died of a liver disorder in Munich in 1953.
