excellent pictures. I recently found a "Gold Film Bilder" Buch containing many stars from the era and a little earlier (UFA et al). The styles are, of course, quite similar.
Thanks for all the wonderful info here - mostly lurking, but every once in a while something as nice as this makes me want to say hi, and thanks.
greetings,
Liesl

Hello Gentlemen!
There is a truly great website with thousands of german postcards categorized in several themes. Among them is german actresses. The website is http://www.ansichtskartenversand.com/ and it's highly recommended! It also contains many military subject postcards...
Some samples of beautiful but maybe not so famous actresses...
Luise Ullrich
Hilde Krahl
Lotte Koch
Regards,
Krollspell

Do you have any record on that woman? Thanks.[/quote]
Its actually my picture I have it in my hand right now! It was given to me by a German veteran I got to know whilst serving in Germany, its his sister and her name is Ursula, she survived the war and died in 1990.
cheers, Rik

If your still looking there is a book available of the paintings of the German artist W. WILRICH - contains many face portrait paintings of German women as well as Knights Cross holders for which he is normally famed.Wilibald wrote:Hi,
I would be interested to find an internet source (galleries) for Third Reich era pictures of German women, preferably studio photos. Any material you may have could be posted on this topic as well, should be interesting.
Thanks for your help!
Wilibald
If you want publisher details let me know and I will dig out the details when I am at home.

Hi Wilibald,
Apologies for small delay before replying.
the bookis called "(Wolfgang) WILLRICH: WAR ARTIST: KRIEGSZEICHNER" I presume Lriegszeichner is war artisy in German?
It is written/compiled by Klaus J. Peters and was published in 1990 by Bender publications. Its an excellent book but 99% Knights Cross winners although as I said he contains portrait sketches (black and white) of German women.
