Strange Imperial Kriegsflagge used by Hitlerjugend in Namibi

I have a vhs, that Chris Dale know, with a documentary about german colonies and have in the chapter DSWA show in 1939 a german kriegsflaggen flag but in these flag don´t have a eagle in the center, but a triangle with one tree twig.


somebody knows this flag?

this this a colonial flag or a nazi pro-colonial organization flag?

P.S: Chris, do you remenber these scene?, with hitlerjugend teens using a südwester hat and these flag?

Yes I remember there being a curious flag used in the video. I'm not too sure what it represented though. If we find a picture of it somewhere, we can ask on the 3rd Reich part of this forum. I'm sure they'll be able to help.

the flag you refer to is the official flag of the 'Deutsche Pfadfinder' organisation of South West Africa/Namibia. the flag is still in use at present by them. they still were the schutztruppe hat but are now in the process of changing that as it is frowned upon by the Namibian government as it is 'Colonial'.
