Need info on SS Officer Max Hansen

I just aquired a Max Hansen signed pic. Tried Yahoo for info. to put with the pic. but nothing worthwhile came up. Can someone pass along any info or a link.

Phil, two notes: in April 1945 the Leibstandarte was fighting in Austria, not Hungary, and Ostuf. Leidreiter describes in vol. IV/2 of Tiemann's divisional history that Hansen was still with the division when they surrendered in May 1945.

Phil, are you sure about his Deutsches Kreuz in Gold award date
Schneider gives 29.12.1942 but Thomas lists 26.12.1941 and entry’s in his file give both 26.11.1941 and 29.12.1941 so I presume 1941 is correct?.

Staf 17.4.1945 he was junior to his brother Cissy Hansen who was also Staf
