"Attack", 1956 starring Jack Palance, Eddie Albert, Jr., Lee Marvin with Richard Jaekel and Buddy Ebsen.

Capt. Cooney (Eddie Albert) is being threatened by Lt. Costa (Jack Palance), if Cooney is sending Costa out on another botched mission. Cooney is hoping to eliminate Costa before Cooney's cowardice and bumbling is revealed to HQ.

Yes! See it wasn't that hard after all. :)

"Battleground", 1949, starring Van Johnson, John Hodiak, and James Whitmore, also with a very young Rircardo Montalban and a even younger Richard Jaekel.

The quote comes from the scene where the German officers are taken to see General McAuliffe in Bastogne.

One of my favorite lines comes after the Germans ask in English but with a German sentence structure, "Who here is in command?"

Van Johnson's character, Holley, shouts back "I here am in command." , mimicking the Germans. It always makes me chuckle as I say the line with Holley.

Your turn. ;)

Thank you.

How about the following quote:
A little while ago, six men from your ship broke into the home of the French Colonial Governor. They started throwing things through a plate glass living room window. We found some of the things on the lawn. Large world globe. Small love seat. A lot of books. A bust of Balzac. The French writer? We also found an Army private first class. He was unconscious at the time. He claims they threw him, too.

You are correct the movie the quote came from was Mister Roberts. A great film starring Henry Fonda, Jimmy Cagney, William Powell and Jack Lemmon.

Over to you for the next question.

Thanks. Here's the next one:

"There's another signal from the enemy, sir. They demand immediate surrender. Any answer, sir?"

"Yes. Tell them to come and get us."
