Hello

I am wondering why this topic is in the Heer, Waffen-SS & Fallschirmjäger section??

V1 - and Flakregiment 155 (W) is Luftwaffe - and most of the subject is about the V1 sites and operations of the unit - so Luftwaffe section or Fortifications section would be more useful for the discussions in this topic.

Opinions on that is appreciated.

Hi Kurt,

I am interested to see these reports. Are they held at Denmark National Archives?

Best Regards,

John.

Hello Kurt,

My name is Patrick from the coastal region of Belgium. Since (according to my girlfriend too long while now) I am doing some extensive research on the V-weapon sites. My latest furthest visit was the Wasserwerke Cherbourg at Brécourt/Equeurdreville. Recieved the authority by the French Naval HQ to do some research there. After that I searched and photographed some of the Feurerstellungen nr 11, 12,15, 16 and 17. Sadly the sites are getting more and more overgrown and taken back by nature but still some of them are in exceptionnal state. I even found the wooden ceiling planks in a montagebau almost untouched. Last weekend I visited the Sonderbaute site at Wizernes. Bauvorhaben 21 (Schotterwerk Nordwest) or better know now as La Coupole. This is my 7th time I visited the site and now they had a special visit in the corridors not accesible to the public. Again I came out with a lot of unanswered questions where, as in most cases, the guides have no answer too either. Most of the times they are just guides and hope you don't ask too many questions.... Nevertheless it's always interesting and widens my interest even more in these concrete juggernauts. To answer Kurt's question (excuse me if I already say your name without even having said hello) on the book on page 17. I bought it at La Coupole a while ago and it is indeed interesting to read.
I have the KTB from Patzwall too and that indeed is a must have as V1 fanatic. I have tons more to tell but will stick to this "small" post first.
Kind regards,
Patrick

Would gladly post the pics but seems they are too large to add.... And putting them in between the brackets doesn't work either.... Seems I need to go to another site again and put my pics there. Hate such forums....

By the way Kurt hope it's still available.... Many of the books are quickly out of stock.... A good one to have too is "Constructions Speciales" by Hautefeuille Roland. A lot on the Sonderbauten and Wasserwerken.
Found one on a flea market here. But sadly not complete. There should be a map inside..... Nevertheless good to have.
Got tons of books and glad to share if needed. Some just copies of others but nevertheless always good to compare and to find some stuff others forgot or added.

Hello

You can use "Paint" to resize the pictures and make them into jpeg 800 X 800 that would do the trick :-)

But then again, you might not have enough posts on Axis to have the right to add photos yet???

or perhaps use a site like this:

https://postimages.org/

which is free - usual declaration - I've no affiliation with it or the owners but have found it useful in the past.
