I think we need the war journal of the 155. In any case, you are likely right, I haven't found any information that really demonstrates that rockets where propelled from the Cotentin bases, and in the event that they fired any it ought to have been between the 12-thirteenth of June and a couple of days before the 27th of June when Cherbourg fell.

All the bases on the Cotentin had their dispatch slopes pointed at focuses in the South-West of England, as Briston, Plymouth, Dorchester.

I'm attempting to discover some information my french book, however nothing yet.

Hello

As mentioned in many books etc. the allied Air Force tried different angles of attack on the V1 "buzzing" over England/London.

We have seen Spitfires "wingtip" V1´s - and here in this picture a Mosquito has fired directly at a V1 and flew directly into th blast afterwards.

Not a pretty sight, a wonder it succeded in landing 8O 8O 8O

Hi Kurt,
Long time ago you asked this question and I did not read all the rest of this thread to know if you got an answer:
Your photo shows probably the connection and air flow regulation bar of the Askania Steuergerät as shown here or here.

Hello,

I'm new to this forum. I discovered this document you posted by chance and I'm very interested in the document concerning Luché (photo PB230059.JPG), which is in the region I'm studying. Would you be so kind as to tell me, if possible, where I can find the entire document (the whole map)?

Many thanks in advance
