Wehrmacht Bicycle

Post by Endo » 14 Oct 2002 02:45

My enthusiasm for WWII history is only surpassed by my desire to bike. Does anyone know where I can find some info on the standard issue Wehrmacht Bicycle. I have even seen pictures of guys with Panzerfausts hanging from the handle bars.

There was a discussion about that recently.

Go to: http://www.thirdreichforum.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=5394&highlight=bicycle+troops

There are many infos and additionally I could offer you photos of all bikes used. Let me know if you are interested.

Hi Endo

Just thought you'd like these pics that were taken from 'Weapons & Equipment of the German Cavalry 1935-1945', by Klaus Richter.

Regards
