Fallschirmjäger Poster
Henricks picture shows Assault Force Granite at Hitlers headquarter. The three officers from the left are Delica, Witzig and Koch.
They attacked on the 11th May 1940 the Belgian Fort Eben Emael.

Here you have another version of the poster. Talking about the Hitler with the fallschirmjägers´photo, there are several good shots (Witzig´s one, Delica´s one...) at wehrmacht-awards website.

FJ posters are extremely rare. This isn't a poster but it is closer than a photograph. It's a Willrich print autographed by Colonel Bruno Brauer. Brauer was executed - or, rather, murdered - by the Greeks in 1947 for alleged war crimes on Crete during the airborne invasion in May 1941. The Fallschirmjäger summarily executed Cretan civilians who had tortured and mutilated wounded Germans and German PoWs with bestial cruelty. An Allied commission actually stated in 1947 that the Fallschirmjäger were entirely justified in their actions. This didn't save Brauer who, denied a soldier's death, was hanged.

These are another Willrich postcards remembering Sturmabteilung Koch. The first one belongs to Rudolf Witzig, the "hero" of Eben Emael. the second one is Egon Delica (fought too at Eben Emael)

Very nice postcards, Oscar. The Delica one is quite rare. The Brauer picture I posted, however, is not a postcard. It is larger than a postcard, printed on paper stock, and seems to be a picture removed from a book, although the reverse is blank. It was in an album that obviously belonged to a German schoolboy who collected autographs. Sadly, the pictures and autographs were all torn from the album so that the bastard who had the album could sell them separately. I HATE it when people split up albums and groups like this! I saw some of the other RKT autographs from the album. There was a Günther Prien. I think there was also a Hans-Joachim Marseille autograph on a photograph. But they were already sold. I managed to get this Brauer autograph.

I agree with you, Prosper. Sadly, too many times dealers´goals are different than "healthy", honest and motivated collectors´ones. Money and History...
. The Willrich postcards I´ve seen are usually torn...
This one is Koch´s postcard. I find rather curious the helmet camouflage...

Anyway, Witzig´s one is my favourite. Eben Emael operation has ever impressed me because of this man´s value and courage.
