Dear Harmel,

unfortunately I don' t think so !!
Severin Wilhelm Schroeder was not in Nuremberg, but in Soviet captivity,
arrested on 11.11.1945 in Dresden.
He was then in the GULAG-special camp in Mühlberg,
then in Krasnogorsk, Cerncy and Leznovo.
He returned 28.08.1949 via camp Frankfurt/Oder

Dieter Z.

BTW: The man in question has a "Schmiss" (scar by student' s duel) on his left cheek, nontypical for a "pure" former general !

Alex, Ludger!

According to "Stellenbesetzung der Deutschen Heere" it is:

Oberst Dipl. Ing. Friedrich Geist (28.09.1898-10.09.1958)
